Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Unfreeze ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Unfreeze is a productivity application designed to help users overcome task initiation challenges. The App provides features including task capture, AI-generated first steps, timers, momentum tracking, and optional body doubling.

Subscriptions

Free Tier

The free tier includes basic features: task capture (text and voice), up to 5 AI-generated first steps per day, the 2-minute timer, momentum counter, and a basic widget.

Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions are available on a monthly ($6.99/month) or annual ($49.99/year) basis. Premium features include unlimited AI first steps, body doubling, all widgets, Apple Watch app, custom timer durations, and priority support.

Billing

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support or use the "Report a Problem" feature in the App Store.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
Use the Body Doubling feature to harass or harm other users
Create multiple accounts to abuse the free tier limits
Share your subscription with others

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Unfreeze and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

You retain ownership of any tasks or content you create within the App. By using the Body Doubling feature, you grant us permission to display your chosen display name to other users during active sessions.

AI-Generated Content

The AI-generated first steps are provided as suggestions only. We do not guarantee their accuracy, appropriateness, or effectiveness. You are responsible for evaluating and deciding whether to follow any AI-generated suggestions.

Health Disclaimer

Unfreeze is a productivity tool and is not a medical device or treatment. The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition, including ADHD. If you have concerns about ADHD or any health condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unfreeze shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or productivity, arising from your use of the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Unfreeze operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
